New Projects

I am, with coauthor Mary Kay Shanley, deep into finding and talking with about 300 college students all over the country for a new book Survival Secrets of College Students (working title; Barron’s, 2007). These students are so fun to talk to, giving us thoughtful and honest insights into what happened to them their freshman year of college. From those experiences, they have savvy tips for incoming freshmen.

Do you know any present college students? E-mail me their name, E-mail, and year in college so I can invite them to talk to me about their college experiences. Also tell me how you know the students, please. They just might end up in the book.

Another research area for Mary Kay and me is the notion of remarriage. If you have any thoughts from your experience you’d like to share with us, E-mail me
